Refund policy

Artandshadow accepts returns and exchanges when requested within 30 days from the delivery date, subject to the applicable conditions below. This is the deadline for requesting a return, rather than a requirement that the returned item arrive within that period. EU buyers of standard limited-edition artwork have a right of withdrawal within 14 days of delivery; our return policy does not reduce applicable statutory rights.

Change of mind

Items should be returned unused and in their original packaging where possible. Return shipping is free, using a prepaid return label. These voluntary change-of-mind conditions do not limit any applicable statutory right to inspect an item.

Bespoke or custom-made artwork made to your specification is not eligible for a change-of-mind return. Bespoke orders cannot be cancelled or refunded for a change of mind after 24 hours from purchase, as processing begins immediately. This condition does not exclude remedies for faulty or misdescribed artwork.

Faulty or defective items

Contact Artandshadow within 30 days from the delivery date with your order number and a description of the fault. Include photos or video if practical. A full refund is issued to the original payment method, with no return shipping charged to you. Faulty bespoke artwork is covered too. Applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

Item not as described

If the artwork received does not match its product description, contact Artandshadow within 30 days from the delivery date with your order number and a description of the difference. Include photos if practical. Return shipping is free, and a full refund is issued to the original payment method. This also applies to bespoke artwork that does not match the agreed description.

How to start a return

Contact customer service using the details below to request a prepaid return label and the correct return address. Returns are sent by mail. Do not send an item to an address without first obtaining the return instructions.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 business days, starting from whichever happens first: Artandshadow receiving the returned item or you providing evidence that it has been sent, such as a proof-of-postage receipt. No restocking fee applies.

To exchange an item, return the original item following this process, then place a new order for the replacement.
