About this artwork

This anatomical mixed-media sculpture combines transparent vintage illustrations of the human heart and brain within a contemporary cubic steel frame. Two black-and-white images are mounted between acrylic panels, creating a layered composition suited to industrial, dark-academia and modern interiors.

The 13 cm cube may be installed vertically or horizontally to fit the available wall space. Its 6 mm welded-steel frame is polished to an antique silver sheen. Natural or artificial light passes through the transparent imagery, producing changing shadows and emphasizing the relationship between structure, depth and volume.
