About this artwork
This geometric abstract sculpture is inspired by the avant-garde compositions of Robert Delaunay. A colorful art image and acrylic elements sit inside a compact cubic frame, combining modern color with an exposed industrial structure for an indoor wall, desk, bookshelf or mantel.
The cube is handmade from welded 6 mm steel bar. Its transparent and open construction is designed to interact with natural or artificial light, casting defined shadows that change the perception of its volume and structure. The piece is intended for design studios, contemporary offices and private interiors.
An appropriate hook and wall plug are supplied for mounting. The balanced cubic frame also allows the sculpture to stand independently as a decorative object. Individual handmade construction may give each example minor variations.
