El Lissitzky Architectural Drawing Steel Cube, 13 cm

This mixed-media architectural sculpture presents a transparent reproduction of an El Lissitzky drawing for a conceptual Moscow building inside a cubic steel structure. The work connects Lissitzky’s geometric architectural language with a three-dimensional display format suited to contemporary, industrial and modernist interiors.

The clear print allows light and the surrounding room to remain visible through the composition. Depending on the lighting conditions, the metal framework and architectural image form a changing arrangement of lines and shadows. The 13 cm cube can provide a compact focal point in a living room, office, studio or architectural workspace.
