About this artwork

Dark Thoughts is a limited-edition Furst_Ori diptych exploring emotional and architectural depth through a combination of image, steel and hand-woven string. Each of the two pieces places a two-dimensional original photo collage inside a three-dimensional metal cube. The woven string extends the printed composition into a physical web.

Illumination causes the steel frame, transparent elements and string structure to project changing shadows. Each web is individually formed, so its arrangement differs between iterations. The work belongs to a strictly limited series of 12 and includes a signed artist's certificate of authenticity. The pictured string configuration relates to the specific available version.
