Furst_Ori Early Flight Steel Wall Sculpture Diptych

This two-piece wall sculpture explores two early milestones in human flight through detailed historical imagery and cubic industrial structures. Created from an original Furst_Ori composition, the diptych can be installed vertically or horizontally to suit the available wall layout.

One panel references Jean-Pierre Blanchard’s 1793 hot-air balloon flight over Philadelphia, witnessed by George Washington. The other depicts André-Jacques Garnerin’s 1797 parachute descent over Paris using a silk canopy without a rigid structure. Printed imagery is mounted between transparent acrylic layers, allowing light to pass through and produce a changing shadow effect.
