About this artwork

This aviation wall sculpture depicts Alberto Santos-Dumont's airship La Balladeuse from 1903. An original Furst_Ori painting is professionally printed on transparent acetate and positioned between acrylic glass within a hand-welded steel frame. The work connects early aviation history with contemporary industrial design.

Light passes through the acetate and acrylic layers, projecting changing shadows from the airship image and open frame. The steel structure is cut, welded and polished by hand for a clean industrial finish. At 20 × 20 × 13 cm, this edition is larger than the separately listed 10 cm cube version and can be displayed alone or alongside other pieces from the aviation series.
