About this artwork

Take the Leap is a two-piece mixed-media sculpture based on an original Furst_Ori design. Its coloured composition depicts a woman in flight through a sequence of two transparent prints, combining Constructivist inspiration with minimalist geometry. Each image is housed in a cubic steel-bar frame, allowing the pair to function as a connected visual sequence.

The transparent image layers and open metal structures interact with artificial or natural light. Their projected shadows extend the lines of the artwork beyond the cubes, creating a changing arrangement of transparency, volume, structure and light. The diptych is intended for interior display in a living area, office or gallery-style wall arrangement.
