About this artwork
This three-dimensional wall sculpture presents details from Adam and Eve by German Renaissance artist Lucas Cranach the Elder. The transparent image places the historic figures within a contemporary handmade steel frame, using projection and shadow to extend the composition beyond the print.
The frame is made from 6 mm mild-steel bar. It is welded by hand and polished to a vintage-steel finish. The high-quality transparent print is protected by acrylic. The combination of Renaissance imagery and exposed metal construction creates an indoor art object for a living room, bedroom, office or gallery wall.
The Adam and Eve subject may suit a couple, wedding, new-home or Valentine's Day gift. The listed dimensions are an estimate based on a typical compact cube size.
